A lone public light bus, a cornerstone of Hong Kong transit, waits for its next departure form the Diamond Hill station. Two variants of the public light bus exist in Hong Kong. From what I gathered, ones with green marquees and roofs, such as the one pictured, operate on a designated route making planned stops. Ones with red marquees and roofs (pictured in upcoming posts) make stops and pickups as requested along the way to a specified destination.

The merging of culture from all corners of the world. As we continue on our separate ways, I wonder about his perspective of present day Hong Kong. Is he as ambivalent about Hong Kong as I am of Denver?
The streets begin to dry out from the previous night’s rain as the bustle of the city works its way to the daily crescendo from this moment of relative calm. Attempting to shake the jet lag resulting from 22 hours of travel, I wander Hollywood Road as the city wakes for the day.
